Brief Biography

Pastor Bryan E. Harris

• Born and raised in Lancaster, Pennsylvania

• Baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and filled with the Holy Ghost in March 1988 at Christ Temple Community Church in Hawaii (Pastor John C. Hammond Sr.)

• Awarded the Combat Action Ribbon in the Gulf War in 1991 while serving in the United States Marine Corps Infantry.

• Called to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in September 1993 while serving as Youth Leader at Emmanuel Apostolic Church in Vallejo, California under the pastorate of District Elder Dr. Jerry Hubbard.

• Married to the lovely Kelly Prince Harris since February 3, 1996.  To this union was born their two sons, Levi and Simeon.

• He is a certified Mentor in Solano County and has worked as a Mental Health Crisis Counselor for over 12 years.

• He has served on various community boards in efforts to reduce the use of drugs and alcohol in the Vallejo community, to minimize homelessness, sexual assault and domestic violence in the county of Solano.

• He is an ordained minister of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World Inc. and former State Youth President of the California District Council Pentecostal Young People’s Union.

• He founded and pastored the Christ Temple Apostolic Church of Vallejo from April 1999 to December 2006.
  
  
• He is the current pastor of Emmanuel Temple Apostolic Church in the city of Vallejo since January 1, 2007.
