This question is as old as the beginning of grace itself. It is the most important question one could ask regarding their soul and eternity. It is essential to salvation. In fact, it is salvation.Not many people ask this question anymore, but they should. If this question is in your mind or you think that you are already saved… Take a look at what the Bible says about Salvation.

Why Repent?
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23, Proverbs 28:13

What is Sin?
Carnal or worldly desires and behavior that cause transgression (disobedience) of God’s Word.

What Does Sin Do?
Sin separates you from God and brings death.
James 1:15

Romans 8:7-8
v7 Because the carnal mind is enmity (separation) against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be;
v8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

The Flesh
Represents your old nature or sinful ways and must be put to death, so your Spirit man can live. Romans 8:9-14

Psalms 51:5
We were shapen (or brought forth) in inquity (sin).

Isaiah 64:6
Because we were brought forth or born in sin and are unclean, all of our righteousness (our attempts to do right) are as filthy rags in God’s sight.

I John 1:10
If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him (God) a liar, and His Word is not in us.

What Do I Do Next?

Be Born Again
John 3:5
Jesus said, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Acts 2:38
Repent and be baptized everyone of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission (removal) of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Be Born of the Water!
How?
By being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the removal of your sins. Romans 6:1-3

Why?
Because there is no other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12, Colossians 3:17

Why?
So we can walk in the newness of life. Allowing old things or behaviors (sin) to be passed away. Romans 6:4-7, II Corinthians 5:17

Be Born of the Spirit!
Why?
So the Spirit may comfort, lead, and guide you in all the ways of the truth. St. John 14:26, St. John 16:13-14, Galatians 5:16-17

How?
Ask…Your heavenly Father will give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him. St. Luke 11:13

How Will I Know That I Am Born of the Spirit?
You will know that you are born of the Spirit when you hear the sound of the Spirit. St. John 3:8, Acts 10:46

What is the Sound of the Spirit?
And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak with other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 2:1-4

What Do I Do Next?

Walk in the fruit of the Spirit!
Romans 7:4
“…even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.”

Galatians 5:22-23, 25
v22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, v23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law (restraint). v25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

How do I Know the Holy Spirit is for Me?
Because it has been promised to you. St. Luke 24:49

It is God’s desire that none should perish. II Peter 3:9

If any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His. Romans 8:9

Being without the Spirit means being without God and without hope. Ephesians 2:12

SALVATION IS FOR ALL?

This means whosoever will, may come and receive the same promise. It is to ALL and for ALL.

Galatians 3:27-28
v27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. v28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all ONE in Christ Jesus.

If you want to be saved
Jesus said, “I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.” St. John 14:6

Salvation is only in Jesus Name!
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12

Why did God do this for me?
Because He loves you.

St. John 3:16
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The LORD is Coming Soon!

Save yourself before
it’s too late.
Nothing is worth losing
your soul over.
The things of this world
are temporary.
But, Salvation is ETERNAL,
and everyone must spend
eternity somewhere.
